It looks like we have enough interest to formally announce a Nashville Vox Party.

When: Friday August 3rd 7PM
Where: Rosepepper Cantina

Please RSVP by Wednesday July 25th so we can get reservations and our VOX schwag.
RSVP by commenting or sending me a private message.

We look forward to seeing you all there!! Spread the word!!!

[Update]Ok folks, we made reservations for 21. They would not put that large of a group on the patio. We are seated inside, near the bar and bathrooms. This large of a group must also be on ONE TICKET so BRING CASH!! The only ATM's I know of in the area are probably not the safest venture on a Friday night, so, try to come prepared!! Looking forward to meeting you all!![/Update]

I will be there, not sure about the wife yet.

My problem is I leave work at 3 with nothing to do until 7... no real reason to go home if I do go out...cause I live in frikkin Murfreesboro.

If I can find something to do for all that time...then I probably am more likely to go out.

yet i can't get anyone interested in a vox prom in memphis. balls.

Come to my place and ride in with us. We will prolly go early to get everything set up. If not, we can play the Wii.

i would, but we planned the prom thing for september, tentatively.

and i really can't afford going to nashville right now, even though i'd love to since i was born there and i need to see my great grandmother.

Well, it's this whole work thing. Maybe if you could like, oh I don't know, I really don't want to be a bother, but maybe if you could come and possibly whack my boss? LOL. Just kidding. Trying to see if I can get a few days off to travel from KC...

Oh, and under 21 admitted with parent or guardian? My daughter wants to come meet some other nutters, other than her old man...

This is a restaurant with a bar, not the other way around :) We bring our 8 year old daughter all the time so under 21 is perfectly fine.

[this is bad!] Husband and i are going to a wedding that weekend and will be unable to make it! we're flying up to Hartford, CT the night before. boohiss! we would love to be doing this instead of wedding, almost. will there be more NashVoxing? :D

Looks like I will be in the unknown zone until Thursday next week. Would be planning on two coming and patio seats too. Keeping fingers crossed...

I just discovered this and I'll be there! (This is how I look when I'm skating in under the wire, here on July 25.) It'll almost certainly be just me.

My vote would be for inside, simply because of how freaking hot and humid Nashville can be in July and August. Also, I used to work very near there but it's been a few years now since I've been in that part of town, so can anybody advise on what their parking situation is now?

And, oh yeah, do we know what time yet? I wouldn't be able to get there before 5:00-5:30 at the earliest, but that's just me.

This is going to be fun - Looking forward to it! Not sure how I'm going to lose 100 pounds between now and then, though... ~8/

7PM Parking is still pretty much a roadside event. There is a parking lot behind Rosepepper where you should be able to find some spaces as well.

Oh God, I have to ride in the car with you too? Jesus... it is going to be like some screwed up NashVegas Tour with a pompadour... gonna need drinks... lots of drinks... before we even begin driving anywhere.

[this is bad] There's a very strong probability that I won't be able to make it (work stuff). I'm not ready to totally concede defeat and say for sure I won't be there, but if you don't see a dumpy middle-aged broad with glasses, that means I'm not there, so somebody have some fajitas or a taco salad for me, no jalapenos.

So, how did it go? Anybody?
